Thank you to the Seymour Marching Owls for their visit today!

Our morning work today was about spelling words with s, es, ed, and ing.  When class started, we did our dance. We do it every morning.  It's called Move to the Groove.  Then we read about the American Revolution and took a short quiz.  We also watched a video clip about what happened in the American Revolution.  In math, we worked on division and multiplication.
The first thing we did today was colored in a graphy and made it into an owl.  Then we read our story about the American Revolution.  When we went to art, we made a sketch book for our fieldtrip to TC Steele.

Our Blogger of the Week is Brenna

The first thing we did today was morning work.  We are learning how to create different words. Next we worked on vocab.  One of our words was legend, so we listened to a legend.  Native Americans told many legends.  They are stories that are made up.  We learned about Native Americans in reading today.  During math, we reviewed multiplication. It was a great day!
Today we worked on multiplication facts for our morning work.  In music, we worked on songs for our Veteran's Day performance.  Then we came back to class and watched Sarah Plain and Tall.  Mr. Freshour came to our classroom and did a lesson.  Then we did self selected reading and had lunch and recess.  We worked on an exemplar.
